Helen Chung Vasiliadis has a BS degree in Physical Education with a Specialization in Exercise Physiology from George Mason University, is an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer, a Wellcoaches Certified Health & Wellness Coach (CHWC), and a Culinary Health Education Fundamentals Coach (Institute of Life Style Medicine). A native of Korea, Helen grew up in Arlington, VA, and raised 5 children in Great Falls, VA. She is also a WAKO World Kickboxing Champion, and a co-founder/co-owner of 1TO1 Fitness Center Inc., which has 7 locations in the DC Metro Area. Helen has appeared on the Regis Philbin Show, Good Morning America, and Dance Fever.
Helen strives to make a positive impact in the lives of every client. Her life experience has taught her that the body achieves what the mind believes and that change starts from within. She approaches clients with empathy, a positive outlook, creativity, and with a commitment to empower them to achieve their goals. Helen encourages clients to set an inspiring vision for their well-being and supports them through taking the small steps that over time lead to big success. She believes that change is a process and that obstacles along the way teach us a new lesson that we can use to be more successful in the future.
Currently residing in the Northern Neck of Virginia, Helen is a Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, and an active Licensed Realtor. While new to the small town/rural area, Helen started a social group, Ladies Around the Northern Neck (LANN), which quickly grew to almost 3,000 members and has fostered countless friendships and amazing social opportunities. Her dynamic personality shines and makes everyone feel welcome, whether at a social event, culinary class, or exercise/training class.
